Original 18th century full leather binding and 51 full-page engravings (Engraving No. 50 is absent). 8vo. 18.8cm x 12.3cm x 4.8cm. Black calf covered boards with simple blind stamp decoration. Corners rubbed and bumped. Smooth spine with gilt decorated compartments (now dulled). Top and tail of spine carefully strengthened. All page edges gilt (now rubbed and dulled). Original marbled endpapers. Previous owner's name to front endpaper: "Mrs Marshall, Ericht Lodge 1845". Engraved frontis: "The House Of Prayer Will. Emmett Sculp." Title page within 2 rules, ending at the bottom with: "Cum Privilegio." Name in a contemporary hand to top margin: "Robert Stirling". Bound with: "A New Version of The Psalms...
