Description: A very rare 19th Century well figured mahogany marble top centre table, finely hand carved and of exceptional quality with beautifully rich patination and grain. The striking moulded Carrara White marble top of circular form with reeded border edge is raised over an elegantly simple frieze above a stunningly carved ring turned, baluster pod embellished with decorative gadroon detail. Supported on a trefoil base with graceful out-splayed moulded legs with fabulous acanthus leaf and scroll motifs on knee, terminating on lion paw foot.
